THE NEW CBS CONFERENCE IS HERE!

Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September 2017 at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel.

 Conference

This is an first actual CBS Conference! Previous Bowen Conferences in 2010 and 2015 were organised by ECBS instructors, but not as a specific ECBS event, but we have so much to show you, so much news and exciting information to share with you, that we needed two days to be able to show you all of this!

The two day event will encompass lectures each morning, including keynote presentations from Paula Esson, Jo Abbott, David Laird and Hayley Derricott, together with the latest news from CBS and affiliated partners, latest Bowen research findings, and much more. The afternoons will be spent in workshops - offering you 12 different workshops from which to glean the latest information from.

Dr. Hayley Derricott PhD: Postdoctoral Research Associate at Keele University. Hayley has been involved in the teaching of anatomy, neuroanatomy and embryology to a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate healthcare and allied students at Keele University. Her talk will be on getting the audience to think about variations in musculoskeletal anatomy that occur as part of the normal developmental process.

Dr. David Laird: Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine. Appointed as Consultant in Anaesthesia & Pain Management 1990 after training in Northern Ireland. Developed the Multidisciplinary Pain Management Service winning 2005 NHS Regional Innovation award and established the Hospital Palliative care service 1993.

Jo Abbott MSc: A Biomechanist, Clinical Anatomist and Sports Nutritionist, currently studying my Doctorate in Biomechanics. Jo is part of an Elite Team of Sports Science Professionals who on a day-to-day basis test, support, train and educate our clients to either optimise their performance in a particular sport, or regain control of their life and live life pain-free.

There will be a dinner and awards evening on the Saturday night, together with live entertainment!

Delegates will receive an attendance certificate from CBS so you can claim CPD hours for attending.

Investment for the Conference: £225 (usual workshop fee). Early bird offer: £200 if booked and paid before end of February.

Although this is a CBS Conference, we welcome everyone, as we always have, from other Bowen Schools and teaching establishments. CBS is building on the foundation of 25 years as a Bowen Training provider, and is constantly striving to push Bowen to the next level in all areas. It's now time for us to share with you exactly what we have done and where we are heading - and hopefully you will join us in our journey!

The Awards is a CBS first, and aims to recognise the great work you are doing out there in the community. More information regarding the award categories and how to enter or nominate someone will be announced shortly.

Dinner and Awards: £40 for three course meal, awards and live entertainment (and of course dietary requirements will be catered for).

Overnight stay at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel (click on the title to go direct to the hotel), subject to availability, and is to be booked directly with the hotel.
